Here are just a few pictures that I've taken so far!  I have visited about half of the campus, and it's kinda a relief, as this school is about half the size of UIUC.  Only having to walk about 4-ish minutes to class is something I could get used to.  My dorm room is really comfortable and clean, and while it's not air conditioned, the heat here isn't humid like it is in Chicago.  There isn't that "stickiness" factor to worry about.  Again, a relief.

On another note, Megan and I traveled to the beach yesterday (on Valentine's Day...which sidenote: is not nearly as big of a "holiday" as it is in the US).  We hopped on the main campus bus, and after about 15 minutes, we hit the water, and naturally got off and headed down to the sand.  We plopped our stuff down and ran into the water.  I can't even begin to describe the color of the Indian Ocean.  Maybe my mind is just stuck thinking about the nastiness of Lake Michigan, but this water was blue as blue can get.  We were thrilled, to say the least.

So we decided to walk a little bit north on the beach, only to hit one big, huge awkward moment.  What did we "run into"?!  A nude beach.  A legitimate nudist beach.  I'm talking naked adults...everywhere...  After dying in sheer laughter/embarrassment/shock for approximately five minutes, we headed back south and found a "clothes-friendly" section of shoreline.  Culture shock much?!

I'm still trying to figure out how to post pictures on here in the form of an album, so hopefully that will be coming.  My lack of technological abilities is becoming more and more obvious lately!  As the Aussies say, "Cheers!"
